What to Look For
Even heat distribution, accurate temperature control, adjustable pressure, and 15x15 inch minimum size for adult t-shirts.
Clamshell vs Swing-Away
Clamshell opens like a clamshell — compact and cheaper but uneven pressure. Swing-away swings the top platen to the side — even pressure, full access to position transfers, safer. For DTF specifically, swing-away is recommended for consistent results.

Common Mistakes
Not pre-pressing, too much pressure, wrong temperature, pressing on seams, no Teflon on re-press.
