1. What is DTF printing?
DTF printing, or Direct To Film printing, is a process where designs are printed on a special film and then transferred onto fabrics using heat and pressure.
2. What types of fabrics are suitable for DTF printing?
DTF printing is versatile and works well on various fabrics, including cotton, polyester, blends, and more.
3. How durable are DTF prints?
DTF prints are known for their durability. They are resistant to fading, cracking, and peeling, ensuring long-lasting quality.
4. Can I provide my own design for printing?
We print customers' designs. You can upload your artwork, and our team will ensure a seamless printing process.
5. Is there a minimum order quantity for DTF printing?
There is no minimum order. We cater to both small and large orders. Whether you need a single custom piece or a bulk order, we've got you covered.
6. What is the turnaround time for DTF printing orders?
Turnaround time in 24 hours.
7. Do you offer design assistance for customers?
Our team is ready to assist you with the design process. Whether you have a concept or need inspiration, we're here to help.
8. How do I place an order for DTF printing services?
It's simple! Visit our website, upload your design or make your gang sheet on our design build tool, select your preferences, and proceed to checkout. Our team will take care of the rest.
9. What is the maximum size for DTF prints?
Our DTF printing technology allows for large-format printing. The width must be 22 inches, and height is most 180 inches. If you exceed 180 inches length, you have to make another file. For example, you have 22" x 240" file, you can separate to 22" x 180" and 22" x 60" two files.
10. What is the resolution requirement for DTF printing files?
We recommend a minimum resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch) to ensure high-quality prints with sharp details, CMYK color mode, and transparent background.
11. What is the press instruction?
Ensure your heat press is clean and free from any debris or residue.
Pre-heat the press to the recommended temperature for DTF printing (typically around 320°F to 340°F or 160°C to 170°C). Ensure the fabric is clean and free from any wrinkles. If necessary, pre-press the fabric to remove moisture and wrinkles. Position the DTF print on the fabric with the printed side facing down.
Place a non-stick protective sheet or parchment paper over the DTF print to prevent any ink transfer to the heat press. Set the heat press to the recommended temperature for DTF printing. Press the fabric and DTF print assembly for the specified duration (usually around 8-10 seconds). Carefully peel off the DTF film from the fabric. Ensure the film is peeled in one smooth motion to avoid any distortion. For optimal results, consider pressing the fabric again for a few seconds without the DTF film. This helps set the ink and enhance durability.
Wait at least 24 hours before washing the printed garment.
Machine wash inside out in cold water using a mild detergent.
Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners.
Tumble dry on low heat or air dry for best results.
12. What is a print on demand service?
Print on demand service handles the entire process of printing, packing, and shipping custom works on behalf of businesses or individuals.
